Preventative Health
Preventative Health Checks by HMS Community
At HMS Community, we offer Preventative Health Checks delivered by our dedicated team of Community Paramedics, Community Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners. These health checks are designed to help with the early detection and prevention of serious health issues, and they can be performed in various community settings such as neighborhood houses, op shops, markets, workplaces, and more.
Why Preventative Health Matters
Preventative health and early intervention are essential for stopping diseases from progressing and causing serious health problems such as hearing loss and heart disease. By identifying people with high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and ear wax build-up early on, HMS Community helps prevent these conditions from becoming more severe, promoting better long-term health outcomes.
A quick health check with the HMS team can identify potential health concerns before they become more serious. If necessary, our team will refer you to the most relevant health practitioners for follow-up care.
